Teen set on fire; now trying to survive

Michael Brewer is trying to survive. Five of his friends put rubbing alcohol all over him and set him on fire. They did this because Brewer didn't pay $40 dollars for a video game. Now, he's struggling for his life.

  1. Is this the Florida incident? Do children really know the effects their actions have on other or themselves. If they are teens as stated above, then yes they should know the difference of wring from right.

  2. Wow. This is so sad. They must not have been very good friends. I don't understand why some teens do things like this. Hopefully this boy will be able to survive. I can't even believe how these "friends" would live with themselves if it ended up killing him.

  3. Good job. I read another student's summary who wrote about this story as well. It's interesting to see what she put in and then you put in. I didn't know that it was over a video game. That is so astounding how mean kids can be.

  4. This story is absolutely insane. All over $40 dollars. I hope this boy is doing alright.
